I would guess that would get you to High or Medium High at 1080p, the main issue is the CPU and GPU but you may be able to get by on Medium settings if you configure your system before playing Fallout 4. CPU = Intel Core i5 Quad Core 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8000 series Hex Core 4.0 GHz.Looking at these specs and considering that both the PS4 and Xbox One use 8GB of RAM and an 8 core AMD CPU, this is what I guess the recommended specs will be. GPU = AMD Radeon HD 7970 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (3GB VRAM).Now I am guessing that Fallout 4 will 64bit as they have said that they want to utilise the Memory from the consoles and as 32bit can only utilise 4GB of RAM I would suspect that they would want to utilise the full 8GB available in the consoles, this would translate to a 64bit executable for PC.Īs for the CPU, RAM and GPU we will have to look at another open world game of a similar scope to Fallout that is 64bit and guess from there: GPU = AMD Radeon 4890 or nVidia GTX 260 (1GB VRAM).TL DR: Basically your CPU and GPU are going to cause the most issues but looking at the Process Lasso utility to unpark your CPU cores and set the Fallout4.exe process to a higher priority.īasically until the Min and Recommended Specs are released (Sometime in October), the only real way of guessing is looking at Skyrim's Recommended Specs and bumping it up today's standards. Well there is a Pinned thread dedicated to this discussion but I will try and answer. Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 OC 2GB
Power Supply: Corsair VS450 450W Power Supply Units PSU
